Job Title: Tyre Fitter
Department: Technical
Reports to: Tyre Foreman
Location: Alrode
Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for inspecting vehicle tyres and the related components, checking for signs of damage and or wear and tear.
SECTION B – QUALIFICATION & LEARNINGS
Qualification
- Matric
- Minimum 3 years’ industry experience
- Valid driver’s license
SECTION C – JOB OUTPUTS
Tyre Inspections
- Inspect tyres for damage, such as nails, stones, and cracks in the rubber.
- Ensure tyres are correctly inflated.
- Report defects to Fleet Manager.
- Replace/Rotate tyres as needed.
- One tyre survey to be done on each vehicle per month.
Documentation
- Ensure that the correct company documentation is completed and submitted to Fleet Manager daily.

Other
- Assist with adhoc tasks as may be required from time to time.
