Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the goods requested are accepted in accordance with the purchase orders. Report any missing goods to the Purchasing Department.
- Control the purchased goods at the time of acceptance for their content, quantity, and expiry date.
- Ensure that the goods accepted are recorded on the Goods Acceptance Form at the time of acceptance and the goods are labelled with their date of acceptance.
- Follow the instructions given by the Finance Controller.
- Distribute the goods requested to the respective departments.
- Control the invoices and delivery slips, enter the information into the system, print the data, and then send the invoice and other print outs to the S/P system after the storage house and cost controls are carried out.
- Solve any problems with vendors concerning invoices.
- Carry out the procedures for goods to be returned.
- Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facilities.
- Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.
- Participate in activities organized to protect biological diversity and share responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training. Minimize consumption of materials and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).
- Implement necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy within the facility. Execute decisions made for energy conservation and assess the environmental impact and energy efficiency of purchased equipment.
- Ensure proper waste elimination and collection, reduce environmental pollution, and lead staff in environmental responsibility.
- Safely handle, store, and use chemicals in accordance with laws, while controlling chemical contamination.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: 4-year bachelor's degree.
- Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in the related field.
- Foreign Language: Not required.
- Computer Literacy: MS Office applications. MC knowledge.
- Skills: Knowledge about the legislation/practices/systems in the related field. Ability to perform specific sequential activities that are related to each other.
