Senior Finance Accountant – JSE Listed Real Estate Leader
Our client, a JSE listed giant in the Real Estate sector, with over 20 years of market presence and a footprint across Africa, is looking to expand their Finance team with the addition of a Senior Finance Accountant.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must have SAICA articles and a minimum of 6 years of post-articles experience, ideally within the property (real estate) space.
- Strong expertise in reporting, budgeting, foreign exchange exposure, liaison with auditors, and consolidations.
This high-impact role reports directly to the Finance Director, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership and make strategic financial decisions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and analysing financial reports.
- Managing budgets and forecasts.
- Handling foreign exchange exposures.
- Leading consolidations across multiple entities.
- Liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting
- SAICA articles - Non-negotiable
- Mastery of both English and French
- 6 years of relevant Real Estate experience
- Consolidations
- IFRS 16 - Leasing
