Armory Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armory Manager to oversee our company's armory operations, fleet management, and parts authorization processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and secure management of firearms, ammunition, and related equipment, as well as maintaining the company's fleet of vehicles and overseeing the authorization and distribution of parts.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Armory Manager will be responsible for:
- Efficient management of firearms, ammunition, and related equipment.
- Maintaining the company's fleet of vehicles.
- Overseeing the authorization and distribution of parts.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in armory management, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
- Strong understanding of firearms laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Certification from recognized armory management training programs preferred.
Inventory Management:
- Experience in inventory control techniques, including tracking, auditing, and replenishment.
- Experience with inventory management software systems for tracking firearms, ammunition, and parts.
Security and Safety:
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols for handling firearms and ammunition.
- Commitment to maintaining a secure and safe armory environment, including adherence to access control measures and storage guidelines.
Fleet Management:
- Experience in fleet management, including maintenance scheduling, vehicle inspections, and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with fleet management software systems for tracking vehicle usage, maintenance history, and fuel consumption.
Parts Authorization:
- Understanding of parts authorization processes, including requisition, approval, and distribution.
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding parts authorization and usage.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and external stakeholders regarding armory operations, fleet management, and parts authorization.
Attention to Detail:
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of armory management, fleet maintenance, and parts authorization.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential issues and take appropriate corrective action.
Leadership and Supervision:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate personnel.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operating procedures.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Proven problem-solving abilities to address challenges related to armory operations, fleet maintenance, and parts authorization.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
