Our clients, based in East London, an accounting and auditing concern, are seeking top calibre candidates to join the team ASAP.
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with relevant degree
- 8+ years in a senior management role in an accounting practice or relevant exposure
- Strong communication skills
- Solid exposure to team leadership/mentorship
- Results-driven
- Attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of TAX/VAT procedures
The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Drafting financial statements
- Preparation of TAX/VAT calculations
- Reviewing team files and ensuring 100% compliance
- Training junior bookkeepers
- Compliance reports and checking thereof
- Senior level engagement with various stakeholders
- Managing junior personnel and performance management
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
This role is not suited to a recently graduated article clerk or audit senior; it is specifically for an accounting professional with a solid background in a similar firm or private company.
