Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the dynamic world of Logistics Technology SaaS? We’re seeking a passionate and results-driven Team Manager/Senior Consultant to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial team.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring continued growth in our organization. A key focus will be on new customer implementations as well as retention of our customer base through a personalised management approach, focused on the optimal use of the technology in the client’s unique operating environment. A range of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are critical to ensure the solutions are effectively used and maintained. The ideal candidate will be able to identify opportunities and be responsible for managing projects, resources and/or the implementation of the various software solutions and/or service contracts for new and existing customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
KPA’S:
- Manage Consultants, Distribution planners and Expeditors including job activities, outputs, and administration.
- Delivery of high quality and implementable strategic exercises e.g. Fleet mix, Service Day assignment, Customer to DC allocation etc.
- Check and send exercises and report outputs to the General Manager & clients on time.
- Check & evaluate all other reports specific to each individual client.
- Ensure that new ideas are generated and implemented at the existing customers.
- Project management and implementation of software and managed services.
- Ensure that the value proposition is realised after implementation.
- Ensure that all administrative duties are executed:
- All expenses & claims are submitted on time.
- Billable hours are to be adhered to by Consultants, Distribution planners and Expeditors.
- All leave is to be approved and signed off timeously.
- Ensure that monthly billing is completed within set timelines.
- Driving progress meetings with clients.
- Resolve all escalated issues raised by Customers, Consultants, Distributions planners and Expeditors.

Desired Experience & Qualification
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years distribution/logistics experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in implementing and maintaining route planning, execution management, and mobile workflow software.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a management or supervisor role.
- 1-2 years’ experience in conducting strategic optimisation exercises.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualification in Logistics, Transport, or Industrial engineering.
