Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to various departments/stakeholders.
- Preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and analysis of results (standard costing/variance/profitability/overheads/inventory valuations).
- Review existing and implement new controlling SOPs.
- Manage the finance team, debtors, creditors, and bookkeeping.
- Oversee inventory management with operations.
- Manage IT infrastructure.
- Compile accurate monthly accounts for the business.
- Ensure financial close procedures are in line, including account reconciliations and full review of P&L accounts.
- Maintain processes and procedures for efficient and effective management of operations, including billing and debtor management.
- Work with corporate functions to align with group standards.
- Complete accurate monthly forward forecasting.
- Manage and own the budget process in line with corporate timelines and requirements.
- Manage and own the annual financial audit process in line with timelines and requirements.
- Prepare and control the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
- Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Qualifications: - Professional accountancy qualification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance management environment
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
- A valid Code 8 driver's license and own transport
