Key Performance Areas:
- Assist clients with the compilation of GRAP-compliant Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Preparation of audit files
- Compilation of AFS preparation plans and audit action plans
- Asset management services
- Preparation of Fixed Asset Registers
- Asset unbundling and verification
- Support with the implementation of the Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts
- General and technical accounting support
- Support with the preparation of municipal budgets
- Development of best practice Standard Operating Procedures
- Assistance with special/specific projects
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting or similar related degree
- Completed SAICA articles
- Accounting software experience
