An opening for a contract position has become available for an immediately available Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst within the ICT sector.
My client is a JSE listed company specializing in the provision of technology services across various markets or industries.
The successful applicant will report to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for financial control of the South Africa market. Responsibilities include:
- Providing financial analysis and comments on performance.
- Consolidating weekly sales performance for the region.
- Assisting in monthly reporting and consolidations of performance for the region.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly reporting.
- Ensuring conformity to group reporting requirements, accounting standards, and regional guidelines.
- Ensuring relevance of monthly and quarterly forecasts considering current trends.
- Participating in planning the annual budgeting process.
- Reviewing the annual budgets proposed by subsidiaries and highlighting main concerns and assumptions.
- Preparing business plans for new opportunities.
- Evaluating and challenging business plans submitted by subsidiaries.
- Preparing/reviewing post-investment performance versus initial business plans.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Honours or ACMA/CGMA
- 4-6 years' experience in a similar role
