Job Overview
This mid-senior level employee will build relationships with Body Corporate and Homeowners Association scheme executives, to meet the requirements of the relevant legislation, Governance documents, and rules pertaining to the schemes.
The Portfolio Manager will convene, attend, chair, and minute Annual General Meetings and such other scheme meetings as may be required, handle queries from attendees, follow up on items requiring attention, and ensure compliance with instructions emanating from meetings.
This employee will liaise with scheme executives in obtaining new business and be intimately involved with the take-on process.
This is a deadline-driven position where liaison with auditors, attorneys, insurance brokers, maintenance contractors, and the like requires immediate actioning.
Previous accounting experience in the property industry and knowledge of the Sectional Title Scheme Management and Companies Acts is essential, along with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all role players while performing your duties.
An excellent command of English as a spoken and written language is a requirement.
