Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a SAP AMS Logistics Consultant for a 12-month contract.
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- 6+ years of SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional experience, including configuration;
- 3+ years of Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional experience, including configuration;
- 2+ years of experience driving SAP MM/SD Functional deliverables including managing SAP MM/SD projects (active examples of change management, implementing new SAP MM/SD functionality, SAP upgrades, etc.).
- Some PP experience would be advantageous.
Experience in following essential: - SAP Solution Delivery Management;
- Experience working with SAP AMS partner;
- Business Process, Analysis and Design;
- Business Process Support;
- Project management;
- The following experience/certification would be advantageous:
- Experience working with Ariba;
- SAP certification in SAP ERP Supply Chain Management;
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools;
- S/4 HANA.
Job Description: - Manage escalations and requests from business to timely resolution with the AMS partner;
- For Enhancements, work with the business to complete business requirement document (BRD) and ensure that the appropriate level of detail has been included. This resource will also obtain appropriate approvals from business prior to submitting BRD to organisation's AMS partner for an estimate;
- Manage enhancements and changes with the AMS partner through the entire cycle;
- Manage and coordinate project work. This includes preparing project charters, solution proposals, and weekly project updates;
- Project manages/co-ordinates all tasks and the management/facilitation of IT support and continuous service delivery of the current SAP solution, by the outsourced service provider;
- Collaborate closely with the OneSAP MM Lead to deliver the OneSAP S4 programme outcomes from an MM perspective;
- Day-to-day interaction with various stakeholders including customers in the various business units and IT service providers, liaising with colleagues across all sections of the Global IM department;
- Maintain the customer service focus thus ensuring that the provisioning of services meets the needs of the business;
- Work effectively as a team member providing support, maintaining communication, and updating other team members and business on progress;
- Drive ongoing meetings with key business stakeholders to discuss status on enhancements, projects, and opportunities for improvements (i.e., weekly/monthly).
