If you’re ready to take on a leadership position in a supportive environment, this role is for you. As a Supervisor at Kesho, you will guide and mentor trainees aiming to qualify as Chartered Accountants (SA). You’ll provide essential support over the course of their three-year training, helping them gain the competencies required by SAICA. Through your expertise in accounting, auditing, advisory, and taxation, you will help trainees build strong client relationships, offer tailored advice, and address business challenges.
To apply for the Supervisor role, you should:
- Hold a SAICA accredited qualification from a SAICA accredited institution (BCom Degree or BCTA).
- Have completed or be in the process of completing your Honours/PGDA/CTA or equivalent qualification at a SAICA-recognized university.
- Have experience in a supervisory or mentoring role within the accounting field.
- Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a learning environment for trainees.
- You should have completed a three-year training contract with SAICA (Articles need to be signed-off).

- Timeous completion and finalisation of performance reviews.
- Relationship building with the trainee/staff member.
- Mentoring of trainees and other staff members (formal and informal).
- Performance management of staff members.
- Contributing to and facilitating Learning and Development (self and team).
Operations and Processes:
- Planning.
- Prepare detailed time budgets.
- Communication of deadlines and budget to staff.
- Liaison with client and preparation of the schedule of engagement requirements.
- Oversee and ensure that all the projects’ activities comply with the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Perform function of principal client contact.
- Manage team productivity.
- Review the draft and final financial statements.
- Provide technical support to team and company as a whole.
- Provide adequate on-the-job training, counselling, and evaluation.
