Business Sales Position
Our client, a leader in the shipping industry, is looking for a new Business Sales guru in Cape Town! Develop the import traffic of the client's portfolio assigned and promote new business ensuring that the best service is always maintained. Resilient team player willing to go the extra mile.
Sales Development
- Primary focus is on sales, sourcing new business, to develop, manage and maintain the new business
- Achieve sales target in line with business objectives
- Liaise with all departments with regard to client queries / complaints
- Follow up on sales leads
Client Service
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly visits to clients and client events when required
- Ensure client issues or general communication are resolved/responded to timeously
- Ensure client profiles are updated regularly
Contract Management
- Negotiate and quote rates, advise transit times and routings. Rate agreements to be updated on a regular basis.
Reporting
- Studying of monthly stats, follow up and action where necessary
- Assist with market reports for budget meetings and when required by Trade Managers
- Complete weekly reports by set deadline
