Luxury Lodge in the Mkuze area is looking for an Assistant Lodge Manager who will be acting manager on duty when the lodge manager is not on schedule.
Duties but not limited to:
- Able to work independently.
- Guest-centric position with a major focus on hosting and serving at meal times.
- Checking in & out guests.
- Overseeing Housekeeping.
- Overseeing chefs and Kitchen.
- Overseeing FOH Staff.
- Running daily operations of camp & Staff.
- Setting tables with FOH team for meal times.
- Room checks.
- Petty cash balancing.
- Stock takes & orders.
- Budgeting reconciliation.
- Invoicing.
- Stock control.
- Reservations.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years managerial experience at a 4 / 5* Camp.
- Nightsbridge knowledge is preferred.
- Excel knowledge is essential as well as other Microsoft Office programs.
- Interest in marketing & Social media platforms is preferred.
Package on offer:
- Salary R13,000-R15,000 DOE.
- Live in-private room and bathroom.
- Approx 3 weeks on 1 week off leave cycle (6 days off per month plus 1 in lieu of public holidays).
- 18 days of annual leave.
- Meals are included while on duty; when off duty, groceries are purchased by the lodge so staff can cook their own meals.
- Uniform (after probation is completed).
