Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a CDU Stock Controller for the Chronic Dispensing Unit.
- Accurately Capture All Stock Receipts on the CDU APP.
- Ensure all Invoices are filed correctly and submitted to the Department once a week
- Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments
- Verify that processes are followed according to SOPs and that proper documentation is attached
- Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies, customer requirements and regulations
- Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
- Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items brands, and batches and follow any special instructions on Work Assignment Form and /or additional documentation
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines
- Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requests return authorizations, pulls product, packages and ships returns and recalls
- Assists with physical inventory.
- Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading or other records
- Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
- Route items to various departments
- Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing
- Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt log
- Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
- Ensure that all documents and material received in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality
Qualifications:
Matric
· Registered with SAPC
Experience:
- Working in a warehouse / production environment
- Strong product knowledge
Skills Required:
· Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
· Good interpersonal skills
· Good mathematical skill
· Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
· Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
