The Software Asset Management (SAM) Practice team is responsible for managing and overseeing Group software assets throughout their lifecycle. Our main purpose is to ensure that software licenses are efficiently utilized, compliant, and aligned with the Group’s needs. We are seeking motivated, curious, and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for learning and applying SAM skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enrich the SAM tool, Flexera, by uploading entitlement data, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and relevance for visibility and monitoring software compliance.
- Liaise with SAM Managers to ensure data quality and relevance.
- Assist with analysing SAM Maturity outputs from branches across Africa.
- Assist with monitoring software in the Public cloud and duties related to the Cloud Marketplace, where applicable.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of software and cloud computing concepts (preferred but not required).
- Gain hands-on experience with software licensing and compliance, data analysis, vendor relations, and more.

- Receive guidance and coaching from the SAM Practice team.

Qualifications:
- Completed Degree in IT.
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Not be registered on any other learnership or internship
- Not be studying at any other institution
