OPERATIONS MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that projects run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
- Project Planning and Coordination.
- Budget Management: Developing budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring that projects stay within budget while managing expenses.
- Resource Allocation: Ensuring that labor, equipment, and materials are efficiently allocated to various projects.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Ensuring that all work meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Risk Management and Safety Oversight: Identifying potential risks and ensuring that appropriate safety measures are in place on each site.
- Team Management and Leadership: Overseeing construction teams, subcontractors, and project managers, providing guidance, performance reviews, and ensuring high productivity and morale.
- Process Improvement: Analyzing operational processes and looking for ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Client Communication and Reporting.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Operations Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Management.
- Professional Registration: Registering with professional bodies like the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
EXPERIENCE:
10 years of experience in construction, quantity surveying, and project management.
