Ivanplats is looking for an Engineer Shift Foreman X 4 REF: IVP-ENG-2430
IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12
- Trade Diesel Mechanic or Trade Fitter or Trade Electrician Certificate
- Familiar with mining process and maintenance requirements of related equipment and structures
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Computer-literate in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Experience:
- 5 years' working experience
- Extensive TMM and Underground Machinery
- Extensive post-trade qualified experience
- Extensive knowledge of mining operations
- Planned Maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Engineering maintenance and installation
- Supervision and skills transfer
- Standards and legal compliance
- Safety, health and environment
