Purpose of Position: To manage all activities in the relevant laboratory on a daily basis to ensure that set targets and objectives are achieved and maintain high quality standards at all times.
Requirements:
- HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
- National Diploma: Biomedical Technology
Required Experience:
- Knowledge of Meditech system
- Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain laboratory to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath
- Perform general laboratory tasks to ensure the effective functioning of the laboratory
- Perform special laboratory procedures to ensure timely resulting of specimens
- Receive and process specimens to ensure effective and efficient specimen flow in the laboratory
