We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX/UI Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in working with customer requests and the ERM Libryo product team to design and implement user-centric interfaces that enhance user experience and satisfaction. The Senior UX/UI Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to create visually appealing and intuitive designs.
The ideal candidate will also drive partnerships with other software vendors who wish to integrate with the ERM Libryo platform and play the role of Product Manager for this area of the business as well as for the Digital Enablement Toolbox, which is used by ERM consultants to search, structure, and export data from the ERM Libryo Platform.
Responsibilities:
- User Research and Analysis:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. This includes conducting research on customer feedback and requests.
- Analyze and interpret data from customer and other user testing and feedback.
- UI/UX Design:
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to meet customer needs.
- Create visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for customers.
- Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business goals and user needs into effective design solutions.
- Work with the Customer Success team to provide design support based on customer input.
- Communicate design ideas and concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Usability Testing:
- Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.
- Iterate designs based on user testing results and feedback.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and design systems.
- Communication:
- Communicate with partners and other stakeholders about the integration needs, set deadlines, and drive progress.
- Product Management:
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize according to business value and effort.
- Consult with other product managers (in the “integrate product management” forum) to manage dependencies and decide the overall product development priorities.
- Drive the resourcing of product development, and motivate for more resources as and when needed to meet company goals.
- API Design/Specification:
- Have a moderate understanding of SQL Databases.
- Be able to design, debug and test API endpoints.
- Stay up to date with API best practices and industry standards.
- Meet with developers of integration partners and enterprise customers to assist in the implementation of our customer-facing API.
- Maintain external API documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful and visually appealing design solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with working alongside Software Development teams and product management.
- Experience with responsive and mobile design.
- A very basic understanding of Server Side Rendering.
- Portfolio:
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects and the ability to articulate design decisions.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to present and defend design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user interactions.
- Management:
- Strong and proven skills in managing product backlogs, and processes including external stakeholders.
