Role: Discipline Lead: Bridges and Civil Structures
Key Requirements:
- BSc or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering. Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
- 15+ years of practical experience in bridges and civil structures.
- Proven track record in business development, including securing new projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Extensive experience with SANRAL and COTO Senior Bridge Inspection.
- Demonstrable commercial and financial management experience, including project budgeting and financial oversight.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level technical knowledge in bridge engineering.
- Familiarity with industry standards and project management software.
- Solid experience in Quality Assurance (QA) within engineering projects.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team, with a focus on professional development, optimal performance, and resourcing.
- Business Development: Strong ability to identify new business opportunities, develop strategies, and drive company growth in the engineering sector.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills to manage client relationships and work effectively within a culturally diverse, multidisciplinary environment.
