We’re seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for guiding and facilitating our Scrum teams in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles, practices, and ceremonies (Sprints, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Facilitate Scrum events, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team
- Remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and escalate critical issues to stakeholders
- Champion continuous improvement by leading retrospectives and facilitating process optimization
- Maintain a clear understanding of the product backlog and ensure its transparency to the team
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine user stories and prioritize the product backlog
- Track team progress and metrics, and report on project health and velocity
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment where team members feel empowered and motivated
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum theory, practices, and artifacts
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Kanban) a plus
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with team members at all levels
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure Boards) a plus
Bonus Points:
- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or other Agile methodologies
- Experience working in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools
