Introduction

We are looking for a team player to join our Product team. You will be responsible for sourcing and communicating detailed feature requirements to various stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring features adhere to the business requirements. Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand the scope of the feature and the business case. Review the Product Opportunity Assessment document for the feature.
- Competitor research to analyse similar features offered by competitors and provide feedback to Product Manager, UX Designer, and Tech Lead.
- Engage with the UX Designer to comprehend personas relevant to the project. Provide inputs into persona creation from research findings.
- Engage with various stakeholders in and outside the organisation to define product, business, legal, operations, sales, banking, and technical (high level) requirements for the feature.
- Define the analytic tags needed to track feature utilisation behaviour and feature performance.
- Understand and communicate any impacts of the new feature on existing features.
- Document process flows showcasing the different scenarios that could occur for the feature and share this information with the UX designer.
- Provide UX Designer with realistic data to use in designs.
- Provide UI design feedback to UX designer throughout the design process, ensuring designs adhere to the required business rules.
- Create detailed user stories based on signed-off UX designs, ensuring quality assurance processes are defined for each story.
Delivery Collaboration:
- Escalate risks and dependencies to the Delivery Manager and Product Manager.
- Source any additional information requested from the team regarding requirements, including field-level details, validations, error states, and logic.
- Walk the delivery team through the user journey designs and requirements and address questions from the team.
- Maintain and update acceptance criteria and user stories as changes occur.
- Add items to the product backlog.
- Provide input into test case creation.
- Once testers have signed off on a user story, test the feature to ensure it aligns with business rules, and raise bugs identified.
- Create product information documents, FAQs, and training material.
- Provide input into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with 3rd parties.
- Communicate any updates to the product T&Cs required.
- Manage production defects, raising issues with the Product Manager for backlog inclusion and overseeing the release of hot fixes.
- Assist Support team to resolve customer queries when required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on feature analysis and delivery.
- Excellent understanding of software development processes.
- Good understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- Strong understanding of user-centered UI design.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps / JIRA / other project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work remotely and drive active participation and activity completion in an online environment.
Required Experience
- Fintech experience is beneficial.

Package & Remuneration
Salary bracket
Basic salary of R45 000 – R75 000 per month (dependent on candidate’s level of experience).
