About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to the Business Operations team here at Dotdigital. With a strong focus on getting stuff done, you will be joining at a time where you can put your own stamp on things. Utilising your knowledge of data best practices, you will be able to hit the ground running by being a part of some truly business-changing projects which will make a difference in all facets of the organisation. Working with a variety of data sets from key systems, you will be able to easily identify anomalies, fixing data at the source and improving the quality of our data and therefore the quality of our reporting. Main responsibilities include:
- Assist in collecting, cleansing, processing, and managing large datasets from various sources.
- Use data analysis tools, techniques, and software (e.g., Excel, SQL) to analyse data and generate insights.
- Visualise data findings using appropriate tools (e.g., Power BI) to create easily understandable reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting periodic data audits and implementing necessary data validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Assist senior team members with statistical analyses and interpretation of results.
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, methodologies, and best practices to create a knowledge base for future reference.

We are also looking for candidates to meet the following:
- Problem solving and good analytical skills
- Strong excel skills
- Attention to detail
- A passion for all things BI
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a SaaS company
- Understanding and experience of reporting needs for commercial teams in a SaaS company.
- Experience and understanding of using a reporting tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc)
- Knowledge of data governance/management principles
