Now again in the 2000's, it has faced yet another bout of assault, this time of covert proportions. The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for a Director: International Affairs & Partnerships position on a 5 Year Fixed-term contract, in the Research, Partnerships & Innovation division.
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctoral degree that is part and parcel of your 10 years' overall experience, of which 5 years has been in a senior internationalisation management role within the higher education sector.
- Experienced strategic leader with the ability to deliver multifaceted plans, meeting international student recruitment targets, delivering on MoU and partnerships and operating in large, complex environments.
- Your achievements in directing successful international student recruitment programs are abundantly clear, as is your ability to develop and manage international networks and external relationships at the highest of levels.
- You are highly personable and culturally sensitive, as demonstrated by a track record of working with people from all backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in advancing the global presence and reputation of the institution.
- Develop and implement internationalisation strategies, fostering collaboration and establishing partnerships that lead to enhanced positioning of the institution on the global stage.
- Apply your deep understanding of international relations, broad knowledge of diversity, and the dynamics of global tertiary institutions.
- Be a strategic visionary and an expert at navigating the complexities of international relations while advancing the institution's missions and goals.
