About the Role: As our IT Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining and supporting our hotel’s IT systems. You’ll play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, keeping our hardware and software running at peak performance, and enhancing the guest experience with reliable tech solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and repair equipment to keep systems in top shape
- Provide fast, effective desktop support to team members
- Order and manage parts to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly and efficiently
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document actions in Spiceworks
- Support in-room entertainment, key card systems, and guest Wi-Fi connectivity
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in IT support, with at least 2 years specifically in Hospitality IT
- Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric), plus N+ and A+ certifications
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of hardware, software, and network systems
