Purpose of the job :
Conduct all product measurement activities according to Metrology requirements and principles.
Key Performance Areas:
- Measure components prior to assembly, analyze trial products during development, or test finished goods.
- Record and analyze the results to decide whether to certify or reject specific products.
- Facilitate and analyze MSA studies for machine and tool capability requirements.
- Compile quality monthly reports.
- Update and display quality performance on all quality boards.
- Raise purchase requisitions on Syspro for the quality department.
- Prepare and update quality documentation.
- Data capturing and assist with internal policies and procedures.
- Control and follow up on non-conforming reports.
Minimum qualifications:
- Grade 12.
- Formal qualification in Quality.
- Formal qualification in Metrology.
- Extensive knowledge and use of measuring arm equipment.
- Minimum of 1 year in a quality department within an ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 listed company.
