Luxury African inbound travel company based in Kloof is looking for a Travel Consultant. Must have local and regional knowledge and have delt with international agents. Agents come mainly from the UK, Europe and the US.
- Creative planning and designing of itineraries
- Managing the reservations process for bookings in a manner which ensures guest budget is achieved
- Handling of bookings from quote to finalising, invoicing and travel documents
- Consistent and clear communication with agents, sales teams, preferred supplier partners and colleagues
- Proactive selling of our products and services ensuring the best possible safari for the guests
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- A formal qualification in Tourism
- Experience in inbound travel & tours
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing clients with the required level of service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Must have inbound experience, excellent knowledge or South Africa, Luxury Safari camps across SA, Botswana and Zimbabwe
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
