Your Responsibilities:
- Developing new features
- Working with your team to meet product deadlines
- Improving your coding ability as quickly as possible
- Providing junior and mid-level developers with critical feedback on technical performance.
- Promoting continuous self-improvement by staying informed of industry trends and sharing with the team through workshops or specific skills training sessions.
- Building strategies to improve and build on skills gaps within the dev team.
- Assisting with tech assessment and onboarding of new hires.
- Managing ambiguity around tasks and proactively driving solutions when maintenance issues arise.
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
What do we look for in a great Graduate/Junior Developer (Minimum Expectations):
- Ideally 0-1 years of experience as a front-end or full-stack developer.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- A good understanding of SEO principles.
- A sense of pride and ownership in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
- Be a team player.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience is a bonus.
- Github link showcasing projects is a bonus.
