As our Front Office Ambassador, you will see the complete guest journey from arrival at the front entrance, parking cars, check-in, and rooming guests, assisting guests during their stay, preparing guest accounts, assisting with payments, assisting guests on departure, and bidding them farewell.
Part of your responsibilities will include answering phones, attending to face-to-face guest queries, and taking reservations. Maintaining records, creating and keeping a filing system, as it is the central point for information and assistance for guests who visit and stay in the Hotel, will form part of this role. You will help guests check out and accept final payment for their room accounts, ensuring they have had a pleasant stay and accompanying guests to the Port Cochere to bid them farewell.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Hospitality-related Tertiary Qualification (advantageous)
- Experience as a Front Office receptionist
- Work various shifts
- Work across multiple functions (luggage handling, drive, reception etc.)
- Driver’s license
- Computer Literate, including: MS Office and Opera previous relevant experience at 4* establishment
