Introduction
The above vacancy exists at our Packaged Gas department, Kempton Park, reporting to the Inland Sales Manager. Suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements of this role are invited to apply for this vacancy.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the growth in sales by bringing online profitable new business covering the full range of products in all related markets in accordance with present targets on a monthly, as well as annual basis. Maintains and services the company’s current customer base. Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:
1. Growing company sales through prospecting for new clients.
2. Key Account maintenance, customer satisfaction, and retention.
3. Growing Air Products market presence through various marketing initiatives.
4. Achieving agreed-upon annual sales targets.
5. Actively acquiring industry knowledge for personal and professional development.
1. A minimum of Matric with Maths and Science;
2. IMM/Bcom Marketing degree or equivalent qualification;
3. Minimum 5 years of selling experience in the Industrial, Technical or Gas industry ;
4. Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office suite;
5. Knowledge of Industrial and Specialty gases (advantageous);
6. Proven track record in negotiating at high levels and building strong customer relationships;
7. Must have good verbal and written communication skills;
8. Strong attention to detail and report writing skills;
9. Valid unendorsed Code 8 (B) and own reliable transport.
