What is Studio X?
The ShopriteX Studio is a dynamic team of creatives that creates a wide range of digital content for the Shoprite Group’s integrated, omnichannel campaigns, as well as internal media. From Checkers and Shoprite Xtra Savings to Sixty60, Rainmaker Media and beyond!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute design concepts for Rainmaker Media, ensuring they are current and align with our brand identity.
- Create high-quality visual assets, including graphics, illustrations, and animations, for use in the app, marketing materials, and social media.
- Stay updated with design trends, digital best practices, and industry standards to ensure our creative remains competitive and current.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide design ideas that contribute to the continuous improvement of Rainmaker’s supplier artwork on the Sixty60 app.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant years of professional experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, visual excellence, and an understanding of current design trends.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate them into captivating visuals and user interfaces.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, preferably in an agile development team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
- Knowledge of After Effects/animation is a plus.
