In line with their growth and commitment to excellence, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Governance Administrator to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions:
- Develop and maintain IT risk and compliance frameworks, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Implement best practices and approved IT governance frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with IT security policies and ensure alignment with the organisation's business objectives.
- Monitor IT disaster recovery plans and their alignment with business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with risk management and internal audit units to monitor IT internal control systems.
- Provide regular reports on IT governance activities and compliance status.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to IT governance.
Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, and Internet.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with strong interpersonal communication.
- Team player with a caring attitude.
- Flexible in adapting to changes and management decisions.
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques and record keeping.
- Leadership skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Certifications in CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, or COBIT training are essential.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT auditing or ICT governance, risk, and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and adaptability to changing environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service-oriented with effective listening skills.
