The Girls’ Preparatory invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from 1 January 2025. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this position. The requirements for this position are:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in reception, switchboard, organising functions and events, financial administration, and calendar management.
- Experience working within the education sector is preferable.
- Good administrator with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
- First Aid knowledge and certification is advantageous to assist and attend to children.
- Must be a pro-active team player with strong communication and inter-personal skills and provide a mindful yet professional service with all stakeholders.
- Available to assist with adhoc requests which impact on the effective functioning of the school. These requests may require work after office hours.
- Proof of sexual offender’s clearance certificate. Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate.
- A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos and mission of the College as well as participation in the broader life of the school.
