IT Technical Support Specialist (Business Consulting Services)
Position status: Permanent and office based.
A multi-disciplinary software development and engineering company has an exciting opportunity available for an IT Support Specialist to join the Technical Support Team .
Position Overview:
The Technical Support Team is responsible for the design, supply, installation, support, and maintenance of the IT Systems within the company as well as for its clients, within South Africa and abroad .
The IT Support Specialist will contribute to the efforts of the team by providing IT support and assistance across all aspects of the business, strengthening the team through applying his/her experience, certification, and skills.
To be considered for this position, one must have:
- A completed BSc Information Systems / BCom Information Systems.
- Certification in Microsoft/Linux core competencies .
- Certification or experience with proven competency in Kubernetes /Cyber security .
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a Server/Client support environment .
- Certification or experience with proven competency in electronics such as Traffic Control and Vehicle Barrier Automation as well as CCTV/ANPR Camera Integration with IT Systems .
