REMUNERATION: Grade 1: R 307 473 per annum; Grade 2: R 375 480 per annum; Grade 3: R 451 533 per annum

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
- Matric Certificate or Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- An appropriate B Degree / National Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent that allows registration with the SANC as a professional Nurse.
- Registration Certificate with SANC as General Nurse.
- Proof of Current registration with SANC as General Nurse (2024 SANC RECEIPT).
EXPERIENCE:
- GRADE 1: No experience is required.
- GRADE 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognize experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nurse.
- GRADE 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing and Midwifery.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, TRAINING AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of nursing care processes and procedure, nursing status and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Good verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulations.
- Interpersonal Relations.
- Ability to function as part of a team.
- Good Communication Skills and Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexible in order to meet institution needs.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide efficient nursing care that leads to improved health service delivery and prompt quality health care.
- Participate in health promotion and illness prevention initiatives.
- To execute duties and functions with proficiency and accuracy.
- Ensuring provision of basic needs of patients and a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Implement standard practices criteria for quality Nursing.
- Provide nursing care that leads to improved health service delivery by upholding principles of Batho Pele and patients’ rights Charter.
- Ensuring proper utilization of Human Resources maintain a constructive working relationship with Nursing and other stakeholders.
- Utilize human, material promotion and illness prevention initiatives.
- Ensuring clinical interventions to the clients including the dispensing of prescribed medication and to perform ongoing observations to patients.
- Implement interventions to achieve HAST and other Programmes targets.
- Display a concern for patients, promoting and advocating proper treatment and care including willingness to respond to patients’ needs and expectations.
- Create and maintain a complete and accurate nursing record for individual health care user.
- Strengthen data systems and treatment outcomes by assisting capturers on Tier.net.
- Support the realization and maintenance of Ideal Clinic Programme in the facility.
