A Growing Hardware & Distribution Centre is seeking a professional I.T. Technician with a minimum of 3 years proven experience.
Requirements:
- Matric
- IT Diploma NQF5 or Degree
- A+, N+
- Microsoft Office Products
- Windows Server
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of relevant software and hardware
- Day-to-day troubleshooting
- Network administration – responsible for managing and maintaining the LAN & WAN
- Infrastructure support - monitor network and servers
- Ensure privacy and security of networks and computer systems
- Regular maintenance of assets including conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
- Ensure the I.T. Department is managed in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Performing and administering backups
- Hardware & software support - troubleshooting & repairs to all clients connected to the LAN/WAN
- Perform hardware maintenance
- Data validation
- Monitoring and resolving user issues
- Maintaining documentation and hardware/software registers
- Good housekeeping
Advantageous:
- Configuration and setup of SAGE/Pastel Evolution
- Configuration and setup of Pastel Payroll
- Configuration and setup of MS Office 2019, MS Windows 10 & 11
