Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a seasoned VP of Engineering with a strong background in Salesforce development, architecture, and team leadership. This position is essential for driving the integration, customization, and architecture of Salesforce solutions to support our business strategies. The ideal candidate is a Salesforce expert who excels in leadership, technical proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will involve managing a team of engineers, overseeing large-scale projects, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives to foster growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the engineering team in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions aligned with business and strategic goals.
- Define the technical direction for Salesforce projects, ensuring all solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Project Oversight
- Develop project roadmaps, allocate resources, and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
- Leverage extensive Salesforce knowledge to architect, develop, and maintain high-quality Salesforce solutions using Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
Technical Management
- Oversee technical planning and execution, including Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and data modeling.
- Ensure adherence to integration best practices and performance standards.
Team Development
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation.
- Conduct regular code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with stakeholders, facilitating clear communication on technical capabilities, limitations, and project progress.
Quality Assurance
- Implement quality standards to ensure robust testing, debugging, and release management practices for all projects.
Innovation and Optimization
- Drive process improvements in project delivery and operations, incorporating new technologies and integration tools to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 4 years focused on Salesforce development.
- Demonstrated success in leading technical teams in a VP of Engineering, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Proficiency in multi-cloud Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Experience with data integration tools such as Mulesoft or custom APIs.
Certifications
- Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, Platform Developer, or Integration Architect are preferred.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large-scale Salesforce implementations with a focus on data governance and compliance.
