We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Product Manager with a strong technical background to drive our industrial laser business for semiconductor inspection, lithography and wafer-fab equipment applications as well as advanced quantum applications.
As part of our international team in the Business Unit Biophotonics & Materials, you'll play a crucial role in business development for our high-power fiber laser solutions, driving market strategies, sales efforts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Product Manager
High Power Coherent Fiber Lasers
- Developing sales strategies and leading customer interactions, including preparation and execution of client meetings alongside the international sales team
- Inspiring and guiding global sales teams by providing product trainings, developing marketing strategies, and driving new business opportunities
- Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, extending our network in the industry including active contribution with targeted publications
- Identifying new customers and applications; assessing product-market-fit
- Monitoring market trends and competition and deriving the future product roadmap in collaboration with R&D, other PMs as well as TPA and TFR (TOPTICA AG & TOPTICA France) management
- Preparing and executing the market introduction of new product variants
- Managing product-related financial performance (P&L), including financial planning
- a degree in Physics, other MINT, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- professional experience and/ or strong application knowledge in either semiconductor manufacturing, lithography, interferometry, holography, optical metrology, or related fields
- previous experience with fiber lasers or other high coherence lasers is considered a bonus
- proven experience in sales, key account management, business development, or product management
- a demonstrated track record in successfully launching new products or developing new applications (international OEM account management experience is a plus)
- a "hunter" mentality with the ability to identify and develop new market opportunities
- a self-driven, structured way of working with being able to independently set priorities in a dynamic work environment
- strong communication and negotiation skills to drive customer engagement and product positioning
- a team player who builds cross-functional relationships and manages collaborations across R&D, sales, and product management
