At the headquarters in Ottobrunn near Munich, the Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops, produces and markets advanced drive systems for two brands: FAZUA with the focus on pioneering compact lightweights for agile e-bikes and under the brand name Porsche exceptionally powerful drive systems. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that has transformed the cycling industry in 2017 with its innovative drive system for agile, compact, lightweight (and extremely good looking) e-bikes. Since July 2022, we are a part of the Porsche eBike Performance GmbH through the takeover by Porsche AG. - Review Product System Requirements and derive Technical System Requirements
- Provide technical guidance and feasibility studies for product development
- Organize System Integration Team Stage Planning, Sprint Planning and Task Management
- Interact and communicate necessary project tasks within company departments
- Provide technical assistance and deliverables to the Product Management department
- Represent the System Integration Team in System Meetings and Stage Event Meetings
- Collaboration with Product Management, Sales, Research and Development, Testing and Certification, Production and Quality Management departments
- Collaboration with Sales and OEM customers regarding Technical Requests and System Development feedback
- CAD modelling and integration of the combined System, incl. all products
- Assist in definitions of mechanical and electrical System Interfaces (inside and outside of the System) and align with all Product Managers and Development Teams
For our System Integration department, we are looking for a Integration Owner System with at least five years of experience in system development and management of hardware products. Our product-based R&D Organization consists of three departments developing physical products for the Bicycle Industry: Drive Units, Batteries and Vehicle Control Units. This advertised position's main purpose is a high-level overview and the engagement of common activities for every development within the organization.
- Advanced knowledge in product development of electro-mechanical hardware.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software tools
- Experience with project or task management for development teams
- Experience in the E-Bike industry or similar
- Master's / bachelor's degree in engineering science
- Familiar with state-of-the art development and engineering practices (Agile Methodology, Project Management, Requirements Management)
- Very good technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving ability
- Flexible, self-organized, proactive and team player
- Excellent communication skills with people from various backgrounds
- Creative and critical thinking
- Bonus points: Embedded Software and/or Backend Software high level understanding
