The role
For our Insights team in Hamburg, we are looking for a Demand Forecasting Business Partner (m/f/d)!
- Development and maintenance of dashboard for translating Business case
inputs into demand planning logic, as well as Forecasting future developments in market sizes and product launches using
statistical methods and modelling techniques to allow informed investment
decisions - Reviewing and evaluating the sell-in and sell-out data for all categories,
considering the defined targets and identifying potential causes for identified
deviations as well as developing proposals for corrective measures in
collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. - Supporting the Demand & Forecasting manager in preparing monthly MSS
submissions and mid-month reviews towards the CLT, as well as Stand-In for Forecasting & Demand Planning Manager during absence and supporting the Forecasting and Demand Planning Manager with ad hoc requests - Development and implementation of interactive dashboards and regular reports
to provide managers and decision-makers with relevant insights into the
company's performance - Coordination of Exchange meetings between SSP, S&OP and Finance for the
purpose of aligning views on market developments and requirements on
company performance - Work closely with the Sales Strategy & Performance, Finance and Sales & Operations to understand specific requirements and provide appropriate analysis and insights, while implementing Best Practices to improve Forecasting Accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences or economics and 3-5 years of professional experience in sales & marketing / sales planning / logistics
- Strong communication skills
- Very high tolerance for ambiguity and very good analytical skills
- High level of detail orientation
- Very good English skills and conversational skills in German
