Provide and maintain a high-level administrative and clerical support service to the Nursing Director of the relevant service and other department managers including the management of clinical, financial and administrative information and correspondence, which is often confidential and highly sensitive in nature. Contribute to the Administration team for the service to ensure sustainable administration support is available at all times.
The Role:
Provide direct support to the Clinical Lead/Clinical Director/Director of Nursing and Midwifery of the relevant service through minute/note taking, preparation of correspondence, organisation and scheduling of meetings and diary management.
Create and maintain clinical rosters for the service in conjunction with the Clinical Lead, liaising with various medical staff and hospital departments to ensure information integrity.
- Rostering – Paediatric Outpatient/Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department Schedule and Oncall Roster
- Locums, timesheets and leave requirements
- Secretarial for Clinical Meetings – co-ordination of minutes, agendas and outstanding actions
- Extensive Diary Management
- Be flexible and adaptable to assist with the day-to-day office operations.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, part time, day worker, working up to 56 hours per fortnight, commencing 8 December 2024 until 8 June 2025.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
