Opportunity for a young QS with the right qualifications and experience to move into a mid-level role and take on full responsibility for all QS functions on a construction site.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are financially controlled, costs are minimized, and all QS duties are carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site Quantity Surveying functions for various construction projects.
- Oversee financial planning, control, and reporting to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Handle the appointment of subcontractors and ensure their work complies with contract terms.
- Manage material procurement and ensure proper inventory control.
- Ensure all administrative tasks related to QS functions are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc Quantity Surveying or BTech Quantity Surveying qualification.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a contracting environment.
- Previous experience in commercial, residential, or retail construction with a contractor.
- CCS experience will be an advantage
