Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage and take ownership of the balance sheet and profit & loss (P&L) statements.
- Oversee tax matters, including monthly VAT returns and corporate tax, and act as the main point of contact with tax authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports.
- Develop and maintain a Manual of Procedures, identifying key risks and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce exposure.
- Analyse financial performance trends and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Group finance and company finance teams to review and forecast financial data.
- Propose innovative solutions to reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Oversee payroll processing and implement controls to ensure compliance and prevent errors or fraud.
- Build and lead a team of finance and administration professionals to support the finance function effectively.
Skills & Work Experience: - Prior experience in auditing with a Big 4 firm.
- 5-10 years of relevant finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll management.
- Experience with SAP and SAGE ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong people and stakeholder management abilities.
