Requirements:
- Relevant BTech or degree or academic Diploma equating to 360 credits combined with proven competence and experience
- Up to eight (8) years’ relevant experience
- Valid Code B or EB driver's licence.
Key performance areas:
- Manage and determine optimal life cycle for all fleet assets (vehicle and plant)
- Provide fleet to the City and ensure a roadworthy safe and fit for purpose fleet, in compliance to RTA, RTQS, OHSA, IDP, GAMAP and other corporate legislative guidelines
- Manage the insurance fleet
- Ensure that fleet is maintained, operated and repaired efficiently and effectively
- Manage and control fleet budgets
- Perform and execute proactive scheduling and maintenance to ensure maximum availability of the fleet
- Manage customer satisfaction and service delivery
- Plan, manage and implement the development of projects
- Manage and administer contracts within the business area.
