A well-known commercial vehicle and machinery company, based in the Netherlands, is currently looking for Senior Engineers ready to lead and mentor a team of developers in Dubai. If you meet the minimum job requirements below, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for South African Candidates.
Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience in PHP Laravel
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science and having a proven track record in writing “clean code” solutions according to SOLID principles (incl. TDD and test frameworks such as PHP Unit)
- Excellent knowledge of PHP and AWS
- Experience in designing and working with CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend etc.
- Experience in working with REST APIs, ensuring they are performant and scalable
- RDBMS (MySQL) and NoSQL databases and advanced JavaScript concepts, front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, and React is an advantage
- Experience with tools such as Vagrant or Docker is a plus, version control systems such as Git, and search engines such as Solr or Elastic
- Leadership skills, previous experience with leading a team would be beneficial
