Sales Executive - Designer Wallpaper

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with mornings spent at the office.
Our client is a leading provider of designer wallpaper solutions, catering primarily to architects and interior designers involved in large-scale commercial projects. With a focus on quality, design finesse, and exceptional service, they strive to exceed their clients' expectations by offering premium products and tailored solutions.
This growing concern is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their small team in Cape Town, covering the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales of high-end interior products, targeted towards architects and interior designers. The role will involve a blend of business development activities and account management, requiring excellent communication skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to provide accurate measurements.
Remuneration: R20,000 basic negotiable + commission + fuel card, cellphone allowance, pension fund and medical aid contributions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid drivers licence and own transport.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the interior design or related industry.
- Knowledge of interior design principles.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
- Well-connected within the architecture and interior design community, with existing industry contacts preferred.
- Proficiency in measurement techniques and spatial awareness to accurately assess project requirements.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development (70%):
- Identify and target potential clients within the Western Cape region.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the unique features and benefits of the company’s products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
2. Account Management (30%):
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences.
- Provide personalized support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final installation.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation of wallpaper solutions, meeting quality standards and client expectations.
- Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by clients, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
