Job Description
To strategically and operationally manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue generating clients. Responsibilities include key relationship management of these clients, seeking, identifying, and exploiting business opportunities for the bank, and growing the portfolio through the acquisition of new clients. Success will be measured through client satisfaction levels, financial performance of the portfolio, sound governance, and new client acquisition.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have the Following Exposure:
- Manage cost to income to increase profitability and efficiencies for the business.
- Enhance business performance and profitability.
- Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and in support of operational objectives.
- Ensure growth and increase in customer base by managing existing clients and generating new leads.
- Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.
- Drive the achievement of customer migration by recommending solutions and improving efficiencies.
- Set tactical goals and optimize the use of people, finances, and technologies.
- Define a sales strategy and delivery plans in support of the strategic business objectives.
- Assess and evaluate credit applications in accordance with the Bank's Credit Policy.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements.
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business decisions.
- Continuously assess own performance and seek feedback.
- Manage people by executing line manager responsibilities.
You Will Be an Ideal Candidate If You:
- Have 2-3 years in a Business Relationship Manager role in the Commercial Banking environment.
- FAIS Accredited qualification (NQF level 6, 7, etc.).
- Exposure to Credit Applications in the Agric space environment.
- RE qualification.
- Credit Management exposure is a must.
- Have experience dealing with high-level customer queries.
- Are not an unrehabilitated insolvent.
