Key Responsibilities Are The Following
- Outline, write, and edit user-focused and task-based technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and interview varying stakeholders to document configuration requirements, user tasks, troubleshooting guides, and other software functionality.
- Present documentation drafts or final versions to the technical team.
- Revise existing documentation based on internal or customer feedback.
- Follow existing style guides and writing standards.
- Work both independently and in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with other writers, developers, product managers, QA, and customer support.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with technical communication and documentation.
- Experience following writing styles guides like the Microsoft Manual of Style or the Chicago Manual of Style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Git source control.
- Experience in web application development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with developing technical documentation for a diverse audience.
- Experience with MadCap Flare.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of API methodologies.
