A dynamic global manufacturing company based in JHB South is looking to employ a Technical Sales Representative / Sales Engineer with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Matric
- Valid Driver’s License & Own vehicle
- Formal Education (Highly Advantageous)
- The successful candidate must be a self-starter, go-getter, and independent team player
- Must be able to travel a considerable amount in South Africa
- Candidate must have experience in one of the following industries: Engineering, Ceramics, Glass, Aluminum, Steel, and Manufacturing.
- Sell products to potential and existing customers face-to-face, achieving sales targets
- Keep up-to-date records of all sales-related activity
- Research and understand the market and customer needs
- Agree and review sales objectives and targets for oneself with the Manager and wider sales team
- Provide customers regularly with helpful material such as product samples and catalogues
- Quote prices, credit and contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates to customers accurately
